It was another great evening of sailing Wednesday as 10 Pelicans jousted with blustery and shifty winds, a fitting wind-up to SWYC’s 2010 summer race season. Thanks to Bob Boehm and Bruce Brereton who overcame a recalcitrant horn and got us around three two-lap courses. Results for the day as well as unofficial final standings are posted on the Pelican Standings page. If anyone discovers discrepancies, please let me know.
The sailing was followed by food , wine and lively conversation at our home. Thanks Jill, and thanks to all who supported our racing program this year. Now we only have a month to make repairs and adjustments before Pelican Viking Fleet Three starts their fall racing on September 25th at Camano Island State Park. Good sailing to all. - Bill
